Hey! Im a Brooklyn girl with Caribbean roots in Trinidad and Barbados. Im a lifelong baker that worked as a pastry chef after college and then transitioned into the public school system. I love gardening and if money wasn't an issue I would spend my whole life talking to my plants and the honeybees. I also love yoga and carnival! How and when did you first start playing mas?  * I started in 2005 in trinidad. What carnival experience has been your favourite (and most proud) to date?  * Carnival 2005 for sure! We never planned to play mas that year but we got bitten by the mas bug after hearing KMC's "First Experience ". My family and I headed over to Poisons's mas camp Monday morning and walked out with full costumes! My sister and I also made the newspaper in the front of the lifestyle section, in full color, in two pieces! I work in the cosmetic industry so I see beauty in everything! I enjoy cooking, dancing, traveling and spending time with loved ones. I love makeup and absolutely love CARNIVAL❤️ How and when did you first start playing mas?  * I always wanted to play mas but I finally got the courage to play or the first time in Toronto for Caribana 2016. What carnival experience has been your favourite (and most proud) to date?  * My favorite carnival experience has to be TRINIDAD carnival. The vibes, energy and people are just unmatched. Everyone should at least experience Trinidad at least once. What are some of your must-have carnival essentials? My must have essentials for carnival are comfy tights. My thighs rub so tights are a MUST HAVE lol. Also comfy shoes are important, you spend 8 hours or more dancing and jumping up all day. So comfy sneakers are very essential. I am a Haitian born and raise in the states. Grew up in a very old school religious family. I am the youngest & only female of three boys, who marches to the beat of her own drum. How and when did you first start playing mas?  * I’ve always wanted to play mas, however I never had the guts to do it in my hometown so I conquered my fear in 2017 playing for Tribal Carnival at Toronto Carribana.
