How and when did you first start playing mas? *
1984 the very first day it started in Miami
What carnival experience has been your favourite (and most proud) to date? *
The year my mom won Queen of carnival, I won female individual and my daughter won Jr Queen of carnival.
What are some of your must-have carnival essentials?
Tights, boots and carnival make up
Describe your perfect mas experience:
Being able to pick up a costume that fit my body type that I DO NOT have to alter.
What would you like to tell people about mas, that they may not know?
You can speak to a section leader band leader to get your costume just for your body type. It’s possible.
Would you change anything about playing mas in your city?
Yes, return it back to the street
If you could play mas with one soca artist, who would it be, and why?
Rihanna, I love her love for the culture
Do you think there is currently an unspoken age or size limit on playing mas?

Tell us about your journey to becoming a confident woman:
Most say that I make it look easy. Any time I dress I walk with my chin up and let my confidence flow.

Yes. It will encourage someone to wear a costume after seeing someone like them playing.

Brief biography (profession, hobbies, passions, etc.):  * 26 year old Youtuber Grad Student living in NYC. I'm currently getting my degree in Public Policy and Administration in hopes to become an Inspector General and Investigator. When I am not in my books I work for WCS located in The Bronx Zoo. I was exposed to it from a young age in Jamaica when my aunt participated.
